WTF is Nespresso? Ludicrously thick crema, disposable aluminium cannisters (the environment, anyone?), and having to go to a specialist shop to get the cannisters appeals to whom?
Was never into espresso shots. Never heard of Nespresso before today, and you're right about the amount of unnecessary aluminum. The capsules look pretty when they're arranged though, which is probably part of the product presentation/marketing strategy.

You just let the machine to run for longer and it fills your cup to Americano level.
Maybe it is the consistency that I do not like... it seems so inorganic.
It is really good coffee, but it is missing something for me. Coffee is important.
