3. Should I do actuarial exams? It involves about 5 years of part time study. The exams are notoriously difficult to pass, but perhaps I could do with something to dilute my arrogance?
Could somebody grown up (and successful) please, please, please give this poor boy some career advice?

A lot of the time I dislike the drive to self-improve, then I remember that I'm still a 100% consumer in all aspects of my life.
What if your arrogance is well-placed and you end up becoming even more arrogant? The professional actuary thing definitely sounds like something you should be, methinks.
