Hard work being a genius.

Seriously, the company has no money left in its accounts for payday this Friday.  If the deal goes over the line by next week, we have a million and change.  If not, yours truly is on the dole (uneployment assistance) again.

Fun, fun, fun, 'til her Daddy took the T-Bird away-hay...

I take it you have lots of faith in the future of this company you're employed by? Why else would you work at a place where the next paycheck is a possibility rather than a certainty?

And is it just me or are the verification words getting longer?

I also suspect the very annoying verification words are getting longer.

Amjad, tisk!

1. If the company survives, I am well placed to make a lot of money.
2. If the company does not survive, I have lots of good experience and have a great reason for leaving my last job.

Unfortunately, it seems that after my six month career in finance, finance has gone down the tubes. I may be returning to science and engineering if this does not work out.

I have been working on an couple of possible projects with friends, but it is so difficult to get things done with so little free time in the evening.

Yeah, but you remember the job hunt hassle you went through last time?

And academia isn't an option anymore? 8<
