I spent the day writing corporate sales emails.
In my job, in the last five months, I have:
* Enabled outside access to our network.
* Restructured the computer network.
* Built a workflow and database system.
* Restructured and expanded the telephone system.
* Conducted consumer and corporate market research.
* Researched patenting, trademarking and copyrighting, with a view to sales of software.
* Not an ounce of statistics. Tut tut.

hmm... then how come ur Ph.D had a lot to do with mathematics?
That is kinda my point. No mathematics have been involved lately. Do I mind?
oh.. no, u certainly do not!
You move too much, bin agnon.
What's your job description again?
I'm sure that's a disappointment.. no?
My job description:
Head of Research.
Pricing assistant.
Pricing Administrator.
IT Manager.
It depends on who you are. It is a small company, so I just do what needs to be done. The math requirements in the real world seem rather scant, despite the fact that I work in finance/insurance (insurance based assets).
