Your parents love you. Actually, they might not.
You should work hard at a day job. Actually, sometimes it does not do you much good. Maybe you should quit and change career, or just plain live on less money and have more fun.
You should respect your elders. Actually, sometimes they are quite wrong, and if you can get away with it you should treat them as they deserve.
You should live together before you get married. Actually, this is a fucking stupid idea - a real one foot in and one foot out approach. If you are going to do it, do it. Otherwise, do not do it.

Live 2gether first, ya.. that's not really an option in my part of the world. And am glad it's not, cuz if it was.. y bother getting married.
Exactly. Although there is also the good reason that it is just as hard to break up as if married, but they do not get into it consciously.
I tend to take it one step further; I am an infidel when it comes to the whole boyfriend-girlfriend relationship idea.
Your approach is rather surprising, very much applauded all the same.
